Mr. White was previously Executive Vice President of HealthLease Properties, a publicly traded REIT focused on healthcare real estate. He also previously served as a Senior Vice President of Brookfield Asset Management Inc., where he was responsible for raising capital for various alternative asset vehicles across real estate, private equity and infrastructure.
His career experience includes a tenure as Director and Head of Deal Management at Citigroup’s Alternatives Distribution Group. While at Citigroup, Mr. White advised clients on alternative capital raising activities in private equity, real estate, hedge and infrastructure funds. He was responsible for executing 25 capital-raising assignments at over $30 billion.
Earlier in his career, Mr. White was part of the Health Care Group at Citi’s Investment Bank, working with clients in the healthcare sector on M&A and capital raising assignments. He began his career in public accounting as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. White earned a Bachelor’s Degree with highest honors in Political Science and Journalism from Rutgers University. He received his MBA from Rutgers Graduate School of Management and his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is a certified public accountant (inactive) and is admitted to the bars of New York and New Jersey (retired). Mr. White is also a member of the Board of Overseers of Rutgers University.
Mr. Chester’s career spans more than 15 years, with experience in finance, real estate, investments, development, and capital markets. Over the course of Mr. Chester’s career, he has initiated billions in successful capital raises, lead numerous tactical acquisitions and created billions of dollars in value through strategic divestitures.
Mr. Chester has established himself as a leader in the healthcare industry and has meaningful partnerships and relationships with operators and developers throughout the senior care industry. Prior to his position as Chief Investment Officer of Invesque, Mr. Chester was critical to the successful launch and IPO of HealthLease Properties. In the role of Chief Financial Officer, he grew HealthLease Properties from a $250 million company to nearly $1 billion. In 2014, he orchestrated the multi-billion dollar sale and development capital deal with Welltower (NYSE:HCN). Mr. Chester’s success helped earn the coveted title of CFO of the Year by Indianapolis Business Journal in 2014, and a spot on the 2015 Forty Under 40 list by Indianapolis Business Journal.
Mr. Chester currently serves as an Executive in Resident at Ball State University and is a co-founder of Ellipsis Real Estate Partners.
Prior to joining Invesque, Mr. Higgs was the Senior Vice President of Finance at a national real estate investment company where he arranged almost $1 billion of debt financing, and assisted in raising significant equity and mezzanine financing. As a Senior Manager in the audit practice at KPMG LLP, he also served a variety of industries, including real estate, software and manufacturing. He has significant experience working with public companies and has assisted in multiple initial public offerings.
Mr. Higgs graduated summa cum laude with his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Butler University. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the AICPA. Mr. Higgs was most recently nominated for CFO of the Year in 2018 by the Indianapolis Business Journal. He is also the chairman of the board of directors of Play Ball Indiana and is a committee member for the Alzheimer’s Association of Indiana.
Before joining Invesque, Ms. Lotfi served as a strategic legal advisor for various private equity investors and closely held companies. Prior to that, Ms. Lotfi served as the Assistant General Counsel of Cheniere Energy, Inc. and practiced law at Ice Miller LLP in Indianapolis and Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago and San Francisco.
Ms. Lotfi received her undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago and earned her law degree from the Indiana University School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude.
Mr. Bedi has spent his entire career in public and private real estate investing, private equity, and capital markets. Over the course of Mr. Bedi’s career, he has structured deals across the capital structure in public and private real estate, specializing on health care real estate.
Mr. Bedi most recently served as the President and CEO of FC Global Realty, Inc., a publicly traded US real estate company, where he led a restructuring of the capital structure, acquisitions, corporate strategy and M&A. Mr. Bedi founded KRV Capital, LP, a private investment and advisory firm serving private and public market real estate investors via a co-investment platform. KRV Capital, LP was originally founded in 2013 under the name Booth Park Capital Management, LLC before re-branding in 2016 after forming a strategic alliance for its public securities arm with one of the world’s leading and most prominent real estate private equity firms. Previously, Mr. Bedi served as a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of Real Estate & REIT Securities at Guggenheim Partners for its proprietary, multi-strategy opportunity fund. Prior, Mr. Bedi was a Principal and Senior Investment Professional at High Rise Capital Management, an opportunity fund focused on value and event-driven investing in real estate securities across the capital structure. Mr. Bedi began his career in the Healthcare M&A investment banking and proprietary trading groups at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Bedi serves as Member of the Board of Directors of MedAmerica Properties, Inc. (Ticker: MAMP) and he serves as an Advisor to the Board of Directors for various public and private REITs and real estate firms. Mr. Bedi also serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Finance in the Real Estate program at the NYU-Stern School of Business. He has taught in the Master’s program at Fordham University and NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate.
Mr. Bedi is a CFA Charterholder® and graduated from the New York University Stern School of Business.
Mr. Zeiger has spent his entire career in the healthcare real estate sector, most recently serving as the Senior Investment Officer of Care Capital Properties, Inc., an NYSE-listed REIT focused primarily on the post-acute sector. In this position, Mr. Zeiger led the development and implementation of the company’s investment and marketing strategy and assisted in growing the company to more than $4 billion in enterprise value.
Prior to joining Care Capital Properties, Inc., Mr. Zeiger spent nearly a decade in various roles at GE Capital, Healthcare Financial Services, a leading lender to the healthcare industry. There, he specialized in financing healthcare real estate across various sectors, including seniors housing and skilled nursing. His most recent position at GE was Senior Vice President, Sales, where he sourced over $2.4 billion of transactions. Mr. Zeiger began his career at Health Care REIT, Inc. (now Welltower Inc.) as an Investment Analyst.
He earned an MBA from the University of Maryland–College Park and a BSBA from The Ohio State University. Mr. Zeiger previously served on the NIC Future Leaders Council.
Mr. Hickman built his career in the healthcare real estate sector, more specifically with Welltower Inc., and most recently, he served as the Vice President of Investments with Welltower. In that position, Mr. Hickman led a team responsible for underwriting and asset management of a portfolio of properties valued at more than $4.5 billion. During his 12 years with Welltower, Mr. Hickman performed and supervised the underwriting and asset management of properties spanning a wide range of asset classes including post-acute, acute care, medical office and seniors housing. In total, Mr. Hickman closed over $15 billion of transactions.
Mr. Hickman graduated with honors from Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Economics. He received his MBA with high distinction from the University of Michigan.
Mr. Dechow was previously Vice President of Construction and Asset Management for a national real estate investment company where he was responsible for managing construction delivery and quality assurance processes across multiple geographical regions. His previous experience includes the management, development and construction of properties for a large international grocery chain as well as a national real estate development firm where he developed office, industrial and medical office buildings. He also worked in a real estate asset management role for a large financial services company.
Mr. Dechow is a graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Economics and Business Management. He is actively involved in his church and community where he has served as a Sunday school teacher, a coach for multiple youth sports, and as a Committee Member for the Boy Scouts of America.
