Invesque Chief Financial Officer Scott Higgs was recognized by the Indianapolis Business Journal as an honoree for the annual CFO of the Year Award.
Indianapolis, Indiana, December 7, 2018 – Higgs shared the distinction of Indiana’s top publicly traded company CFO with fellow honoree John Gallina from Anthem, Inc. and top honoree Jim Ryan of Old National Bank. Invesque Chief Investment Officer Adlai Chester was a top honoree of the same award in 2014.
Since taking the reigns as CFO, Higgs has successfully guided Invesque to growth and profitability — more than tripling the company’s gross asset value, and increasing Invesque’s property count by more than nine fold.
“We couldn’t be more proud to have Scott leading our Accounting and Finance teams,” said Scott White, CEO. “His leadership and commitment to our company’s growth over the past two years have made Invesque an incredible place to work.”
Prior to joining Invesque, Higgs was the Senior Vice President of Finance at a national real estate investment company where he arranged almost $1 billion of debt financing, and assisted in raising significant equity and mezzanine financing. He has vast experience working with public companies and has assisted in multiple initial public offerings.
Higgs graduated summa cum laude with his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Butler University. He is the chairman of the board of directors of Play Ball Indiana and is a committee member for the Alzheimer’s Association of Indiana.
